Blogmas TWTW- Time With The Word

Blogmas’24 D4/TWTW: Little Yeast

For the month of December, I got the idea from a creator on TikTok to read the book of Luke as we countdown to Christmas. The book of Luke has 24 chapters so tomorrow is actually the last day of this challenge and it’s been truly impactful.

So many verses spoke to me in this book but the verse I felt led to share in this month’s TWTW is Luke 13:20-21.

“He also asked, “What else is the Kingdom of God like? It is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The kingdom of God is like little yeast that permeates every part of your life.

I began intentionally studying the Word and praying everyday not because I wanted a big transformation in my life but just to get closer to God and to have that intimate relationship with Him. But pursuing God everyday has changed every area of my life; physically, mentally, socially, financially.

God’s hand doesn’t just touch you spiritually but in every where else.

You meet some Christians and they just radiate GOOD energy, that’s the power of locking into the kingdom of God.

There are 24 hours in a day, taking out an hour each day to spend time with God is like adding little yeast into your day and best believe that it will permeate into every part of your day. It’s an amazing thing.

This is just to encourage you today, if you feel like something’s missing in your life and you don’t quite know what it is, how about you lock in with God? Get into the Word and see how it goes.

Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.”

If this is all you add to your list of goals and resolutions for 2025, I think you’re already on the right path to having the best year!

Thank you so much for reading today’s post! See you tomorrow for Blogmas Day 5! Love you 🤍
