A Random Encounter With A Stranger That Stuck Out Positively To Me

Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you.

I’m a really forgetful person so I tend not to remember random encounters unless it was super touching to me.

I’m an usher in church so basically I’m on my feet for 90% of the entire service. This particular day, I had had a really stressful day before so I knew that I wasn’t fit to serve that day but I did anyway cause our department was short of hands at the time.

During service, my feet started hurting really bad and I also was having trouble breathing so I had to leave my spot and ask someone to swap with me. At first I sat down to massage my feet but I was still feeling clustered so I had to go outside, behind the church for some air.

Suddenly, this lady I had never spoken to but have seen around twice or thrice. She comes out and comes to check on me. She asks if I’m okay and if I need anything. I told her that I was okay and just needed some air. She didn’t go back until I assured her I was fine and even when I went back in, she still asked if I was feeling better.

That moment was very touching to me cause this is someone I’ve never spoken to. I don’t even know her name but she went out of her way to make sure I was fine.

That really stuck with me and it made me realize that there are still so many good people everywhere, all around us. It gave me a little more faith in humanity.
