Hey everyoneee!
Did you think I wasn’t going to keep my promise of one post per week? Sike!
It’s our second post in the “Mental Health Awareness” series and I’ll be sharing 7 quotes on mental health to make you feel better or cheer you (and me) up.

“The advice I’d give to somebody that’s silently struggling is: You don’t have to live that way. You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent. You can live well with a mental health condition, as long as you open up to somebody about it, because it’s really important you share your experience with people so that you can get the help that you need.” – Demi Lovato

“You don’t have to be positive all the time. It’s perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared and anxious. Having feelings doesn’t make you a negative person. It makes you human.” — Lori Deschene

“I really want to say that everyone in the world is lonely and everyone is sad, and if we know that everyone is suffering and lonely, I hope we can create an environment where we can ask for help, and say things are hard when they’re hard, and say that we miss someone when we miss them.” — SUGA, BTS

“Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain.” — Matt Haig

“You are the one thing in this world, above all other things, that you must never give up on. When I was in middle school, I was struggling with severe anxiety and depression and the help and support I received from my family and a therapist saved my life. Asking for help is the first step. You are more precious to this world than you’ll ever know.” — Lili Reinhart

“Take a shower, wash off the day. Drink a glass of water. Make the room dark. Lie down and close your eyes. Notice the silence. Notice your heart. Still beating. Still fighting. You made it, after all. You made it, another day. And you can make it one more. You’re doing just fine.” ― Charlotte Eriksson

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” — Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Honestly, this week wasn’t kind of tough mentally. Had a hell of a meltdown on Tuesday, it was terrible. It had me thinking if it isn’t hypocritical for me to write posts on mental health for you while I’m still going through one of my toughest times.
I decided to write it either ways because I had promised and I don’t like going back on my word. Truthfully, this post ended up being helpful to me as well. Reading through several quotes and deciding which to pick, kind of made me feel better (hence the title of the post).
I hope this post reaches you🤍
What helps you when you’re going through a tough time?

“You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain.” – I love this🌼. Praying, talking to someone (even myself) and being alone helps me when I’m going through a tough time 🧘.

That’s beautiful. I also love being alone and talking to myself too. Even though I end up crying😂
