Heyyyy, it’s Ib✨
I realized I haven’t done this sort of post in a while and y’all voted that I should write more blog related posts so here it is. This post will not only relate to bloggers but to anyone in the creative space. Whatever content you make, I hope this post will be useful to you.
The ideas I will be giving will probably be ones you’ve heard of before but I’ll try to make it personal, telling you my experience and how it works for me. Everyone has their unique way of growing their audience so this is mine.

Interacting with other people in your space
You’ve probably heard this times without numbers but to me, this is the most effective way of growing your audience. Interact and support other people that share the same passion with you. Everyone wants to feel heard/seen so if you make someone feel that way, most will reciprocate.
Feature and collaborate with others. That way you’re reaching out to their own audience and vice versa.
Show Your Uniqueness
Sometimes it’s tough to get people to notice your work because there are just so many people doing what you’re doing. So many bloggers, video creators, designers, podcasters etc so how can they possibly notice yours? Trust me, we all go through it. Some are lucky to have theirs noticed really early while it might take longer for some.
Try to make your work unique, different. Everyone has their charming point. Most of my readers say they love reading my posts because I write in a light and relatable tone and my posts seem like I’m chatting with a friend which is exactly how I feel.
So find that thing that is unique about you and use that to reach out to people. When people realize that you’re true and you truly enjoy what you’re doing, they’ll surely enjoy it too.
Share
To be honest, this is the toughest part for me which is weird right? Cause what’s so difficult in sharing? Some days I just publish and forget to share the link especially when I schedule posts🤧
When I first started blogging, I would literally share my links everywhere and it really helped to boost my traffic but overtime, I stopped caring about sharing my posts and felt like whoever would read, would read cause and that of course took a toll cause who’s gonna read if you don’t share?
Reach Out To Brands
This is useful for people that are trying to monetize whatever they do. A good way to reach a new audience is by working with new people/brands especially ones that go in line with your niche.
Sometime last year, I register with GetBlogged. It’s a platform that has made it easy for bloggers and brands to meet and work together in the most stress free way possible.
Blogging is one of the best ways to advertise your products and working with brands is the best to gain exposure so it’s a win win for both parties and GetBlogged makes its even easier.
You can sign up as either a brand or a blogger using my affiliate link (Click here). That means if you sign up, I get a little commission so, thank you ✨
Be Consistent
This can be quite tough sometimes and that’s why most people end up giving up on their passion.
Consistency is really important. If you create content once in 6 months, people will most likely forget you. No one is saying you have to post every day or every week. Find what works for you on a consistent level.
I hope these tips were useful to you.
Like I mentioned earlier, a lot of people have unique ways of growing their audience so if you have any other tips to share, please leave them in the comments. I’d love to read them.
Also if you’re a blogger or you own a brand, don’t forget to check out GetBlogged (here)
Thank you for reading and see you next time!

All very useful tips. I’m also really lazy when it comes to sharing my blog links. I’ve been trying to promote my blog on Pinterest and I’ll be consistent for a month than just gradually stop **sigh** working on it though.
I’ve heard of GetBlogged but I’m too young to use it. I hope it works out for you though🌻

I think I’ll try out feature posts and collabs, but I don’t know exactly how to go about it. So, some help would me much appreciated, please.

Heyy!
If you want to collaborate or feature someone, you should email them. If you already have a topic in mind, you can tell the person about it and let them indicate if they’re interested. If you don’t have a topic yet and you just really like the person and want to collab with them, you could just be like “hey, I was thinking we could do a collab together or hey, I’d love to feature you on my blog. Do you have anything in mind we could blog about?”. Something like that.
Most bloggers love to collab with each other. It’s usually fun and it builds relationships in the space. Let me know if there’s anything else you need!
