Blogmas D’2: The Blog Christmas Tag

Hey everyoneeee!

It’s Day 2 of Blogmas and today I will be doing a Christmas Tag! I got this tag from Mel of More Organised blog, I thought the questions were interesting so it would be nice to answer it and also tag some besties to participate as well.

What’s your favourite Christmas movie/series?

To be honest, my favorite Christmas movie changes almost every year since I love to watch Christmas themed series every Christmas. I haven’t watched any yet so I’d have to go with my favorite from last year which is Dash and Lily!

Dash and Lily is a rom-com series about…who am I kidding? I don’t know how to summarise a movie. I am deeply sorry for my fault but you should definitely check it out. I really enjoyed it.

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Nope…

We only travel during Summer/Easter breaks and it doesn’t snow in Nigeria so 🐥

Where do you usually spend your holiday?

At home with my family cause where else?

I’ve gotten this habit of wanting to spend Christmas at home because when I was in boarding school, I was away from home for 10 out of 12 months so I always looked forward to coming home during the Christmas Holidays.

I don’t know if that will change…it will probably will😂

What Is your favourite Christmas song?

Christmas songs are one of my favorite things about Christmas! My all time favorite are Carol of the Bells and 12 Days of Christmas , both by Pentatonix. I don’t know if you can tell but I love Pentatonix 😂

Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Help- I only know Rudolph😂

I knew there were more but I never bothered to look for their names. I probably knew them when I was younger.

What Christmas traditions are you looking forward to this year?

I love watching Christmas movies with my siblings on Christmas Eve, we do that every year. Another thing we do is blast Christmas songs through the speakers every Christmas morning, I look forward to that as well!

What is the best Christmas present you ever received?

I actually got this myself and it was my Christmas/One year Blogiversary gift to myself.

It’s a customized necklace that says, “It’s IB” and I love it so so much!

I think it’s really cute and it represents a part of me so I will always cherish it ✨

Most memorable Christmas memory?

To be honest, most of my Christmas memories are at the beach with my family and my friends but we haven’t gone since 2019..bummer

I remember when we would go to the beach and stay till night before going home. It was so much fun🥺

What made you realise the truth about Santa?

I grew up…

What makes the holidays special for you?

As a Christian, of course celebrating the birth of Jesus, giving and receiving gifts, Christmas decorations, Carols, literally everything about Christmas makes it special ✨🌿

What don’t you like about Christmas?

Well, in Nigeria, rather than winter season we have dry season also known as Harmattan season. The weather gets very dry and somewhat dusty, like a cold desert. During this time, I usually get sore throat which I don’t enjoy but it doesn’t last all through Christmas anyway.
