My week has been OMG! That’s literally all I can say. This online school stuff is hardddddd 😩! Y’all that have been doing this since last year have been trying! I salute you cause you deserve some accolades. From meeting up to the deadline for assignments to the never ending PDFs, I almost cried this week 😂 but we’re fine…we’re fine.
My week actually took a good turn because asides all this stressful stuff going on, guess what got delivered to me on Wednesday?
I know I don’t normally do guest based content on Fridays but just to appreciate the amazing lady behind Beauniverse, her jewelries are quality and her customer service is just beautiful!

1. When and why did you come up with BeauniverseNG?
BeauniverseNG started in 2018. I was in my final year in the university Of Lagos and as someone who loves the idea of entrepreneurship, I started selling jewelries and other fashion items like clothes, bags and shoes to my classmates and roommates.
Then I decided to take it a step further by making it into a brand. That is how I came up with Beauniverse.
2. What goes into creating sustainable jewelry?
We have reliable manufacturers who we have been working with for over 2 years and we are sure they use quality materials for all our jewelries. After collating and sending them the orders, our manufacturers send us graphical design of all orders for corrections and confirmation then they proceed to the laser cutting and electroplating after which they polish and send while we package for delivery.
3. Should beadwork and jewelry making be considered an art or craft?
Jewelry making should be considered as both art and craft. During the process of our production, we start by creating different designs which gives our customers enough options of colors, fonts, shapes and sizes to choose from.
4. What makes jewelry making unique?
What makes jewelry making unique is the ability for it to evolve over time and people have been able to incorporate it into fashion and it has been able to stand the test of time.
5. How do you want your customers to feel when wearing your jewelry?
Confident, because our jewelries are made with the finest material which makes them not just stylish but also beautiful and durable.
6. If you could go back, what advice would you give yourself before beginning this journey?
I would advise myself to take my social media marketing more seriously.
7. What do you love the most about your work?
I love the fact the I’m able to satisfy my customers and give them what their money is worth.
