I am about to make you rethink your life situations and the way you think. Are you ready for it?
I’m really really really 100% sure that there were/are times in your life when things didn’t work out the way you expected it to.
Of course, you were sad, pretty bummed, very moody then what do you do next?
Some of you would just give up and move on while some would see it as an opportunity, like “you know what, something bigger is coming”.
You see, everything in this life has to do with perspective. Your perspective changes things. That’s why lots of people have different opinions on different subjects, because of the perspective in which they are viewing the subjects.
Wayne Dyer once said,“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”
There are two binoculars you get to view life from;
• The negative binoculars
• The opportunistic binoculars
We can either choose to look at every bad thing that happens to us as negative or as an opportunity.
For instance, you’re told to repeat a class. You can either look at it and be terribly moody and depressed or you can see it as “this is an opportunity for me to do better and get better grades” because later in life, nobody’s going to care about whether you graduated with your mates or not, what’s going to matter is what you have up there (your brain).
Let’s say, you want to get a job and you’ve been going for multiple interviews but none of them are calling you back. You can’t just give up and be like “Maybe work isn’t for me”. You have to look at the situation and be like, “You know what? I’m not getting called back because there’s a way better job waiting for me”. Why? Because
Romans 8:28“All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose”
So really, you don’t have to sit down and be depressed about anything because God’s got you and everything you think isn’t going your way right now will, eventually.
So switch your negative binoculars for an opportunistic one.
You may be wondering why binoculars? I could’ve used mirror or lenses. Why binoculars?
Well because, binoculars have the ability to focus and magnify whatever you which to see. So if you which to see through the negative binoculars, it’ll focus and magnify the negativity, almost making it seem like it’s actually really really the end and same goes for the opportunistic binoculars.
I’ll leave you with a quote,
Henry David Thoreau said,“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see”
Change your binoculars today!
