ACCEPTANCE… IT’S AS SIMPLE AS THAT

Heyyy… It’s me… Again

Y’all miss me?!

School has been H. E. C. T. I. C. ! Work here and there. I’ve been thinking about a whole lot of things. It’s hard! Buttttt we gotta keep going.

Also a friend of mine told me to try out Korean series cause I don’t know if I’ve told you guys but I’m a SERIES FREAK! Any kind at all, as long as it’s interesting. Anyways, I started watching Korean series. I started with Legend of the Blue Sea, just finished While you’re sleeping… They’re really nice! I’m pretty sure more than half of you have seen it cause everyone I’ve told is like “Oh you’re just seeing it?”😐

Back to business…

So I wanna address this. I’m basically talking to everyone who feels this way including myself…

You see, everyone wants to be accepted yh

We’re scared to be different

It’s an “I want to belong” syndrome that’s spreading rapidly

We spend so much time on our flaws that we forget the beauty in us

We don’t want to be stood out

It’s like if you’re different, you’re abnormal

We end up losing ourselves in the copies of others

Till we learn to appreciate the little things about ourselves like “Look how cute my nails are” “My nose is big but still cute” “I might be big but I can carry myself”, we’re just gonna be lost.

We don’t realise that there’s a reason nobody’s made like everybody. There’s a reason there’s no two of you, there’s a reason she has black hair and you have brown, there’s a reason he’s tall and you’re short, there’s a reason you don’t talk that way, there’s a reason you walk that way. We don’t realise that there’s a reason we are just the way we are.
